Stress can come from: - Extreme Hot/Cold temperatures - Injury - Exercise - Nutrition - Fatigue (lack of sleep or relaxation) - Disease / Immunity (Chronic illness / Pain) - Genetics
We can’t eliminate all stress we experience in life, but we can better understand what and where these stresses come from in order to get a better handle of our emotions, feelings or actions towards them.
Unchecked stress will spread from beyond the psyche to the body it inhibits.

When we are feeling lost, confused and stressed, some people end up also feeling isolated and excluded. Coaches are taught not to show weakness, yet we expect our athletes to show us their vulnerabilities as it is useful when building an authentic connection.
Kelly and Tulshi look back on their experiences as coaches, particularly when they were going through difficult times, in order to understand who was there to support them at their time of need. In this episode we ask who do you turn to when seeking support and how to avoid getting to the stage of burnout with the right support networks around you.
